MPAC as a Classroom

In addition to serving as a state-of-the-art theater for performances in theater, dance and music, Mitchell Performing Arts Center also serves as a classroom and theatrical workspace for both the Academy of the New Church Secondary Schools and Bryn Athyn College.

Both institutions use MPAC for instruction and practice in theater, set design, technical theater, costuming and production. Students at both institutions bring vibrancy and life to MPAC's active theater community.

  • MPAC as a Classroom for the ANC Secondary Schools

    Mitchell Performing Arts Center serves as the theater and performing arts workspace for the Academy of the New Church Secondary Schools. Since being donated to ANC Secondary Schools (and Bryn Athyn College) after it's renovation, MPAC has become an integral facility for student learning at ANC Secondary Schools.

     

  • MPAC as a Classroom for Bryn Athyn College

    Mitchell Performing Arts Center is a highly valued facility of Bryn Athyn College. Mimi Mitchell, a long-time supporter of the performing arts, donated the building to Bryn Athyn College (and the Academy of the New Church Secondary Schools across the road) so that it could enrich students' experiences of higher education.
