Guest Speaker: Julie Lythcott-Haims

Julie Lythcott-Haims is a writer, knowledgeable speaker on parenting, former Stanford Dean of Freshmen, and New York Times best-selling author of How to Raise an Adult: Break Free of the Overparenting Trap and Prepare Your Kid for Success. She draws on research, conversations with educators and employers, and her own insights as a mother to offer practical alternative strategies allowing children to make their own mistakes. Through the guidance of parents, teachers and other adults, children will develop the resilience, resourcefulness, and inner determination necessary for success. Ms. Lythcott-Haims is a graduate of Stanford University, Harvard Law School, and California College of the Arts.
